Featured: Rogues Harbor (formerly the Central Exchange Hotel, built in 1830) on the left and what would become the Whimsy Mercantile on the right. It began its life as a general store, ticket office for the train, gas station and post office then later became a coffee shop, antique store, brewery and now the Whimsy. The little-building-that-could has been a little bit of everything!

Welcome to a new handmade craft shop & apothecary, café and wellness space located in Lansing, New York. The Whimsy features Sweet Pea’s Groceries products (now being offered under the Whimsy Mercantile name) and much more from other talented makers in the area. If you’re interested in having your items in the shop, hosting a workshop/class or using the wellness space to see private clients (yes, there will be an in-house massage table that therapists and practitioners can use), please feel free to reach out.
